BABS Monday Night Floatilla
The Bay Area Boat System (BABS) group promotes travel in the virtual world There.com by supporting a large network of landing towers for hoverboat crafts. Tours and floatilla events are set up by BABS for large groups of Thereians to travel around the There islands while making new friends and sharing good times together.
Join tonight’s Monday Night Floatilla! Everyone meets at the event location and several hoverboat crafts are set out for Thereians to pilot or kickback and enjoy the ride as a passenger. Hop on your favorite hoverboat and take flight with some friends. If the floatilla has already left the first location and you are late to the party, you can catch up with the flight crew in the BABS IM on the BABS Club Home Page and request a summons to the floatilla. Join the group to stay up to date on BABS events!

There Club Fair Begins!
The There Fairgrounds is packed with over 30 Clubs! The annual Club Fair starts today and runs through January 15th. Join a Club and find new friends with similar interests. There are all kinds of Clubs in There with something for everyone.
Several tours and Club events will take place at the Fairgrounds this week. Check out the list of events and sign up for one that you might be interested in.
2017 Club Fair Registration
Do you have a Club in There that you would like to recruit more members to? Get help promoting your Club at the Club Fair happening at the There Fairgrounds January 8th – 15th.
Head over to the There Fairgrounds and pick out a booth (Lot) for your Club. There are several sizes to choose from. Once you find one that will work, join the There Fairgrounds Development Club in order to rent a booth. Once you have rented the booth, you can decorate it to promote your Club. Don’t forget to leave a sign or brochure in the booth so that interested people can locate a link to your Club. Schedule and hold events from your booth during the Club Fair to attract more members.

Holiday Home Decorating Tour
Is your virtual holiday home decked out with lights all aglow? If you’ve got your Christmas tree decorated and stockings on the mantle make sure to enter your home into the Festival of Lights Holiday Home Decorating Tour!
If you’d like to be a stop on the tour, be sure to submit your build to RobbyBoy by December 15th. ThereHouses, Frontier Zones, Neighborhood Lots, PAZes and FunZones are eligible to enter. All entrants will be entered into a dice roll to win a RKM Christmas TUV designed by RK_Falagar.

The guided Festival of Lights Holiday Home Tour will take place on Monday, December 19th at 7:00 PM PST/10:00 PM EST.
If you cannot make the guided tour, there will be a Self-Guided Festival of Lights Holiday Home Tour that will take place between December 17th through the 26th. The host will track your journey on the tour with a quest kit.
All participants in both the guided tour and self-guided tour will be entered into a dice roll to win a Christmas Sleigh and Reindeer Hoverboat designed by Migman.

Festival of Lights Holiday Home Tour
Do you have a virtual home in There that you plan to decorate for the holidays? Submit your holiday home to the Festival of Lights Holiday Home Tour hosted by RobbyBoy to be entered into a drawing for a holiday gift and to be a stop along the tour.

Calling All Holiday Hosts!
The Festival of Lights will be taking place in There.com over the next couple of weeks. Do you have a winter holiday event in mind that you would like to plan and include in the festival?
Some past fun and creative events held during the holidays include winter a wonderland fashion show, Santa scavenger hunt, caroling, secret Santa gift exchange, eight days of Hanukkah, winter ball, ice skating, holiday quests, Developer Showcase, sleigh rides and much more!
If you’d like to plan a holiday event to include in the Festival of Lights, make sure to add the keyword FOL to your event description. You can also contact Staff member Pyrena_Zosime and send her a ThereMail or Facebook message with the details of your event to feature on the There blog and Facebook page.

Thanksgiving Events in There.com
Gobble, gobble…it’s almost turkey time! Thanksgiving Day week is here and there are a few celebrations and games scheduled over the next couple of days in the virtual world There.com.
Happening around the clock this week is Jodi780’s Thanksgiving Day Quest. The clues to the quest are set throughout the Fantasy Island Neighborhood. The residents have built a beautiful tribute to Native Americans and show a scene from the early settlers Thanksgiving Day feast. Stop by and take in the sights and sounds.
Feel free to drop a writing document letting the community know what you are thankful for this season in the Pilgrim Village Lot. There is a nice collection of books, scrolls and brochures left by people of the Neighborhood and visitors expressing their gratitude and giving thanks this holiday season.
