Neighborhood News
We’ve got good news! Our members have been asking for more affordable 20-Acre Neighborhoods since the dawn of New There and we are excited to announce that we have released a limited amount of smaller hoods that will be available in the Auctions over the next few weeks.
We’ve removed some of the larger 100-Acre Neighborhoods and replaced them with a couple of 20-Acre hoods to increase our small hood supply. There are now just shy of a dozen new small waterfront Neighborhoods spread throughout Aurora, Kansas and Comet with one unique landlocked lavender field 20-Acre hood on Aurora.
All of the new waterfront hoods have a rental due date of June 9th. We will be releasing them a few at a time over the next four weeks into our Neighborhood Auctions. Keep an eye out on our blog for Auction announcements for the 20-Acre hoods.
If you’re interested in one of our 45-Acre private Islands or a spacious 100-Acre hood, send a request to feedback@thereinc.com with the doid to the hood you are interested in and we’ll place it in the Auctions for you so that you can bid on it. You can find the Neighborhood doid in the description area of the Neighborhood details page or at the end of the Neighborhood URL. It is an eight digit number.

Thereian Outlaws
A lot of outlaws have been rolling into town during the Thereian Stampede. The Sheriff has been working overtime to tame the wild West and needs your help! Are you good at tracking down bad guys? Go on the hunt for There’s Most Wanted Outlaws!
Each day during Thereian Stampede, there will be a new wanted poster tacked to the wall of the Sheriff’s Office. Visit the jail and look for the most recent outlaw added to the most wanted list. Once you’ve identified your criminal, form a posse and head out West. All outlaws are wanted dead or alive. You must capture a photo of the outlaw of the day to show proof that you crossed paths. Send your pic to iamcollectingmyrewardssheriff@gmail.com. For every outlaw you capture on film, you will be entered to win a prize or 1,000 Tbux.
Sign up for the next event at the Sheriff’s Office and form a search party with other attendees.

Thereian Stampede

Saddle up the horses and head out West to the Thereian Stampede! Round up the posse from now till April 1st for dusty ride over the treacherous trails of There. The Event Hosts have a lot of fun Western theme events planned for you. Share tall tales around the campfire, race your horse at the track, enjoy a game of cards, stop by the Pub for BINGO, race your trusty steed cross country, hunt for wanted criminals or dosey-do at the Stampede Ho Down. If you need a new horse to ride, some fancy chaps or a barrel hat and shotgun, check out the Auctions for the latest Western wear.
Connect With Your Name Tag Color Team For There Games
Join your name tag color team in participating in the Winter There Games events over the next two weeks. Not sure which team you are on? Stop by the Winter There Games Welcome Center and click on the handy name tag sign and it will tell you which team you belong to.
Once you know the color of your team, you’ll want to join the special name tag club associated with your color in order to communicate with your teammates and keep up to date about events they are attending. Every name tag team has a link to an in-world Instant Message on their club page so that you can communicate in real-time and summon other members to your location.
Next, you’ll want to check out your name tag color team hangout in the Winter There Games Village. Think of the hangouts as a spot to tailgate before the Winter There Games events start. You can plan meet and greets, parties, roundups or practice your card game skills with other teammates prior to the Games.
Everyone on your team has hosting rights to the Lot. You can decorate your team hangout by setting an Event and dropping items. The items will remain out in the Lot until the next person who sets an event clears the Lot. It’s a good idea to save your layout so that you can set it back out at a later time if you need it. We ask that you stick to decorating your own name tag color Lot and let the other teams take care of their own hangouts.
You can find decorative There Games items in the Auctions to spruce up the place! Keep your team color and the Winter There Games in mind when decorating your team hangout.

2017 Winter There Games
The 3-D Virtual World There.com is gearing up for the Winter There Games starting at the end of this week! There Games are basically like the Olympics and are held in the Summer and the Winter. Thereians are divided up into sixteen teams, separated by your avatar’s name tag color. Everyone is invited to play in this fun and friendly virtual world competition.
Participants earn points for their team and the team with the most points at the end of the Winter There Games takes home a gold medal and of course bragging rights. Events happen at all hours of the day and range from buggy racing, hide and seek, trivia, card games and so much more. Whatever your interests are in our virtual community, you’re likely to find activities to enjoy with friends.

Join us for some friendly competition over the next ten days in the Winter There Games Village on Frosty Island. Make sure to stop by the Welcome Center, Museum and Coliseum.

Goodfellas of There – A Mafia Event
Are you tough enough to be a true gangster? Join “the family” for a Goodfellas of There Mafia event February 8th – 14th.
Bring your machismo, bravado and larger than life attitude to the table. If you’ve got what it takes to run an underground operation, you’ll be sworn in as a made-man or a boss lady, otherwise you could end up as shark bait in a pair of concrete shoes.

BABS Monday Night Floatilla
The Bay Area Boat System (BABS) group promotes travel in the virtual world There.com by supporting a large network of landing towers for hoverboat crafts. Tours and floatilla events are set up by BABS for large groups of Thereians to travel around the There islands while making new friends and sharing good times together.
Join tonight’s Monday Night Floatilla! Everyone meets at the event location and several hoverboat crafts are set out for Thereians to pilot or kickback and enjoy the ride as a passenger. Hop on your favorite hoverboat and take flight with some friends. If the floatilla has already left the first location and you are late to the party, you can catch up with the flight crew in the BABS IM on the BABS Club Home Page and request a summons to the floatilla. Join the group to stay up to date on BABS events!
