Ourstock Oobie Antics Event

Are you ready for a fun and challenging Ourstock event silly enough to give you the giggles? You’ll need an Ourstock Oobie prop to wear and a whole lot of determination and patience to win this game. The shenanigans begin Thursday, November 17th at 5:00 PM PST/8:00 PM EST.
Once you’ve got your bear suit on, enter the red elevator that will take you up to the platform. Step out onto the rickety platform and gain your balance. You must successfully walk, run and jump over the obstacles stacked along the narrow pathway. Watch out for the bubble trap in the middle…you’ll never escape! You must complete your journey over the beam and through the obstacles all the way to the chair on the bell tower in order to be included in the dice roll. Avies are not allowed to save spots to teleport back to if they fall off. You will be disqualified if you cheat. You must start over at the elevator entrance if you lose your balance. You can attempt the crossing as many times as you like during the duration of the event. Pushing, shoving and jumping are all allowed as it is every BEAR for himself!
The prize for first and second place is $13,500 Tbux or a special 2016 Ourstock ZMW buggy. First place gets to choose the Tbux or vehicle prize. Sign up early to get to the event as there will be a lot of avies dressed up like bears pushing and shoving their way to first place.

Every week on Tuesday evenings, the community is invited to attend the Theme Planning Meetings to discuss upcoming event themes, brainstorm new ideas and review past events to find out what worked well and if there need to be any suggested changes for next time. If you have a creative idea brewing for a fun themed event in There, join your host B_A_B_S on Tuesday nights to share your contributions.
Weekly meetings will be held in different locations throughout There.com. You can search the Activities page for scheduled weekly meetings or join the There_Events club for email updates.

Join your host KatesHappy for the last Hayride floatilla for the Fall season. The tractors leave the Aurora Gulch Hover Port at 7:00 PM PST on Thursday, November 17th. If you arrive late and the gang has already left, you can open up the Bay Area Boat Systems Club page and click on the group IM window and request a summons to their current location.

Grab your bell bottom pants and groovy glasses because Ourstock in There.com is in full swing! The hippies have taken over and it’s all about peace, love and granola. The next upcoming event for the festival is Ourstock BINGO to be held on November 14th at 6:00 PM PST/9:00 PM EST and hosted by PrincessPebbie.
The 10th annual Ourstock event is being hosted on Hippie Islands. Pitch your tent on the outskirts of the Islands and hang out for the next week and enjoy the festival with new friends and neighbors. You can grab a PAZ from the Shop to set up camp.
Freaky Festival on Fantasy Island
Fantasy Island Neighborhood is hosting the Freaky Festival during Halloween! For the next couple of days enjoy the sights and sounds of spooky haunts all over the island.
Kicking off Freaky Festival is the Halloween Camp Out. Members of the Thereian community are invited to drop a PAZ outside of the Fantasy Island neighborhood and set up a haunted house or camp during the four-day Freaky Festival. Check the Auctions for the latest Halloween decorations.
Are you good investigator and good at solving crime cases? Don’t miss the Whodunnit Murder Mystery Quest over at Minxyx’s Place! Solve the cold case for your chance to win a one of a kind buggy!
Sign up for Jenny’s Gin Halloween Special event! Wear your Halloween costume to the tournament. A prize will be give for the Gin Tourney in addition to a dice roll. The event starts at 7:00 PM Friday, October 28th.

The entire Fantasy Island Neighborhood has transformed for the Freaky Festival. There are so many haunts and bewitched areas to see. You’ll have to explore the hood on foot to see everything. There are definitely several things amiss at the Zoo. Make sure to visit the Castillos de Monsterous for a ghastly good time.
Freaky Festival Quest
In celebration of the Freaky Festival happening over at Fantasy Island in There.com, Jodie780 has put together a special Freaky Festival Quest for your enjoyment!
Find the first quest clue over at My Little Mushroom. You can’t miss the place, ironically it’s a giant mushroom. The quest is about Guy Fawkes who planned the failed Gunpowder Plot of 1605. Read the Wikipedia article about this historical figure and answer the questions along the way. All of the clues are hidden in the Fantasy Island Neighborhood.

Murder Mystery In There.com
The residents of Fantasy Island recently made a grizzly discovery over at Minxyx’s Place. Upon entering the Saloon, they spotted the body of woman dressed in a hospital gown dangling by a noose from the barn rafters. The woman was a mental patient who had escaped from the hospital. At first glance the authorities presumed it was an open and shut case of suicide, but on closer inspection it was clear that something far more sinister had occurred.
Can you read the suicide note the escaped patient left behind and follow the clues throughout the Fantasy Island Neighborhood to solve the murder mystery? Put your sleuth skills to the test and figure out this case of Whodunnit!

Halloween Decorating Contest
Halloween is a hauntingly good time of year in the virtual world There.com. Our Designers have endless ghoulish imaginations and have created spooky and grisly virtual items for our community to decorate with during the Halloween season. If you are planning on building a haunted house, outdoor bloodbath, creepy cemetery or a scary scene, we’d like to invite you to enter your Zone in the 2016 Halloween Decorating Contest for the chance to win a Spooktacular gift.
There will be tours set up of participating locations between October 26th and 29th. Three anonymous judges will visit all of the locations and vote for their top three favorite Spooktacular spaces. A Halloween gift will be available for those participants that take 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. As an added prize bonus, all contest participants will have their names submitted in a dice roll for the chance to win a gift. The dice roll and contest winners announcement will take place at the Spooktacular Halloween Party on October 29th. Contest participants to not have to be present at the party to be accounted for in the dice roll. This year’s contest and Spooktacular Halloween Party is hosted by Coolnet560.
