The easiest way to find people in There and make new friends online is to sign up for Events. Event Hosts schedule fun activities like parties, game shows, cards, buggy racing, paintball all throughout the day for the community to enjoy. Think of Event Hosts like Recreational Activity Coordinators in There. They come up with creative and fun ways for Thereians to socialize in our Virtual World.

If you consider yourself a friendly and outgoing individual who likes to bring people together, you’d make a perfect Event Host in There! Help coordinate online entertainment and social gatherings by scheduling activities in our beautiful 3-D world.

Every Monday night a group of Event Hosts gather at the Theme Planning Meeting to discuss upcoming event themes and brainstorm new ideas for future events. In addition to daily and weekly events, special events are planned for holidays, the seasons and fun annual themes. Silent Trials are FREE and do not require a credit card, but your text chat is limited to Phoenix Stars (New Member Helpers) and There Staff.

Invite family and friends to There and text chat with them if you have a Basic Trial Account. Basic Trials require an age-check which unlocks the ability to use text-chat in-world with a one-time (per avatar) charge of $0.50 USD. You must be 18 or older to use There. Premium Memberships have full access to all of the bells and whistles. You can use Voice to hear and speak in real-time with other Premium Members. The cost is an affordable $10.00 USD for a monthly subscription to gain full access to the Virtual World There. St. Patrick’s Day Events in There.com

Feeling lucky?! Even if you don’t have any Irish in you, celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with shamrock shenanigans in the virtual world There.com. Hang out with friends at St. Patty’s Day events March 16th and 17th.

There will be green beer flowing at the Monday night BABS: St. Patrick’s Flight. Pick out your fliest green outfit for this event or take your chances of getting pinched. Pilot your own hoverboat or take a seat for a relaxing ride with one of the Bay Area Boat Systems captains. Starting at 10:00 PM Eastern and 7:00 PM Pacific Monday, March 16th. If you show up late, join the BABS IM for a summon to the St. Patrick’s Day flotilla. BABS Flights are a weekly event in There.com happening every Monday. Join the Bay Area Boat Systems Club for invites to future events.

Grab a buggy or TUV for the St. Patrick’s Day Bash to be held on Monday, March 16th at 11:00 PM Eastern/ 8:00 PM Pacific. Meet your friends at Flamingo Bay and crash your vehicle into mayhem at this friendly bumper buggy event. Prizes available for the last lucky leprechaun standing.

Want to play some cards?! Come out to RobbyBoy’s St. Patrick’s Gin event on Tuesday, March 17th 7:30 PM Eastern and 4:30 PM Pacific. Make sure to show up on time! The doors close 10 minutes after the start of the event and you must be seated at a card table. The winner of this green card event will receive 5,000 Tbux and the runner up will receive 3,000 Tbux. Play RobbyBoy cards every Tuesday and earn points towards monthly Gin United prizes.

Kick off Cultural Arts Week with Open Mic Night hosted by EmmaJean. Sign up to share spoken word, sing songs and tell jokes. It’s sure to be a night of fun starting at 5:00 pm Eastern time on Monday, November 4th.

Visit the Wordgrove PortaZone community during Cultural Arts Week to read up on the library of documents shared by the Thereian community. Join the Wordgrove Club to keep up to date on events and when new stories, poems and haikus are published. Wordgrove is for readers, writers and word lovers!

Tucked away in the darkest corners of Tabu is the Field of Screams Neighborhood dedicated to displays of blood soaked terror, creepy crawlers and things that go bump in the night! Field of Screams is open through November 1st and welcomes all new residents to build the haunted house of their worst nightmares. If you were thinking about putting together something scary for the 2019 Halloween Decorating Contest, Field of Screams is a great spot to build.

All residents will be removed from the Neighborhood on November 1st the day after Halloween and will receive any remaining pro-rated rent. Join the Field of Screams Neighborhood Club to get started. Therebucks are the currency used in the Virtual World There. The conversion rate between Therebucks and US dollars is 1,800T = US $1.00. Therebucks can be used to buy virtual goods like clothing, cars and dream homes in the There Shop and from Designers in the Auctions. They can be purchased on the Buy More Therebucks page on There Central.

There.com offers two payment processing options for Thereians to purchase Therebucks. The minimum purchase is $5 and the maximum purchase is $150.

1) STRIPE a debit or credit card payment processor.
2) PayPal an electronic online payment system.

To purchase Therebucks using the Stripe platform…

Go to the Buy More Therebucks page.
Enter the US dollar amount you would like to purchase.
Click the Buy Now button.
Click the payment processor logo on the right. (Non-PayPal logo)
At the next page, click the same logo again.
The Stripe There.com Payment Portal will appear.
Enter your Email.
Enter your debit or credit card number.
Enter the MM/YY and CVC.
Click on the Pay US dollar amount.

Autumn Camp-A-Palooza

Camp-A-Palooza is now a quarterly event. Get ready for the week-long Fall camping trip in the virtual world There! Join new and old friends for ghost stories, sing-a-longs around the campfire and leisurely hikes through the woods October 2nd-10th.

Sign up for the Hike to Camp event on Wednesday, October 2nd and head out with Camp Counslers to the Camp-A-Palooza campsite. Be one of the first Thereians to reach the campsite and grab one the best spots to pitch a tent.

If you are not able to attend the Hike to Camp event on Wednesday, you can cruise over to Happy Little Trees Campground and find the teleportlink out to the secret camp location. There will be plenty of fun camping activities planned during the week. Search keyword camp on the Events Page to discover the line-up of Camp-A-Palooza activities.

Every month in the virtual world There, Event Hosts plan staple events and special themed events celebrating holidays, seasons, annual themes and more for the community to enjoy. If you’d like to volunteer to participate in the planning of these events, drop by the weekly There Themes & Events meetings on Monday nights.

Sign up to attend if you’d like to seek host support, share new ideas and keep up to date on what events are coming up so that you can plan and contribute your own creative events. The Monday night meetings are hosted by EmmaJean.
