Tuesday Theme Planning Meetings
Every month in There.com our community members come up with creative themed events for everyone to enjoy. Special events are planned for holidays, the different seasons and fun annual themes in addition to never before celebrated events.
Every week on Tuesday evenings, the community is invited to attend the Theme Planning Meetings to discuss upcoming event themes, brainstorm new ideas and review past events to find out what worked well and if there need to be any suggested changes for next time. If you have a creative idea brewing for a fun themed event in There, join your host B_A_B_S on Tuesday nights to share your contributions.
Weekly meetings will be held in different locations throughout There.com. You can search the Activities page for scheduled weekly meetings or join the There_Events club for email updates.
Last BABS Hayride of the Season

Join your host KatesHappy for the last Hayride floatilla for the Fall season. The tractors leave the Aurora Gulch Hover Port at 7:00 PM PST on Thursday, November 17th. If you arrive late and the gang has already left, you can open up the Bay Area Boat Systems Club page and click on the group IM window and request a summons to their current location.

The Gorgon Chronicles World Premier
Miracle Pictures Studio has been filming The Gorgon Chronicles in the virtual world There.com for the last five years. The world premiere of episode two, three and four are debuting during science-fiction week ThereCon October 15th through the 22nd.
Catch the prologue The Gorgon Chronicles: The Pilot Light is Out before the world premier.
Teleport over to the Foxy theater in There.com to watch the premier of The Gorgon Chronicles episode two and mingle with the cast and crew Saturday October 15th at 8:00 PM PDT.
On the night of the 19th, catch the premier of The Gorgon Chronicles episode three! The cast and crew will be on hand to answer questions about the film and sign autographs. The show begins at 8:00 PM PDT.
On Saturday, October 22nd at 8:00 PM PDT Francis_7 will be hosting the conclusion to The Gorgon Chronicles episode four. Chat with the cast and crew of TGC over at the Foxy Theater at Miracle Pictures Studio. Everyone is invited to head over to the bar for the Dead Dog after party.

Kicking off T-Con is the premier of The Gorgon Chronicles Episode 2 presented by Miracle Pictures. Teleport over to the Foxy theater to watch the episode and mingle with the cast and crew Saturday October 15th at 8:00 PM PDT.
Discuss your favorite Science-Fiction books and authors on Sunday at Books &Tea T-Con, hosted by Jessica_6. Tea is served promptly at 2:00 PM PDT. Outer space attire is welcome.
How fast can you land in the craters successfully and back at the launch pad? Hop on a flying saucer or moon lander and blast off for some lunar action. Doors open for the ThereCon Lunar Lander Hoverboat Event at 8:00 PM PDT.
All extraterrestrials, moon-walkers and space travelers are welcome at ThereCon Bingo On The Barge Monday, October 17th at 6:00 PM PDT. Hosted by Susanszy, one of the actors in The Gorgon Chronicles premiering during T-Con .
In the future…there will only be ROMPERBALL! You’re either Orange or Green. Score a point for your team and watch out for the killer dog on the court. Sign up ahead of time, this one’s gonna have a long line of participants. The game starts Monday, October 17th at 8:00 PM PDT. Watch the handy video by Miracle Pictures explaining how to play.
Get your Spock on at Tuesday Tiki Talk Trivia in a special Tiki Trek location. Some Star Trek questions and sci-fi in general along with some more mundane questions for all those muggles out there. Buzzers on at 8:00 PM PDT sharp!

Death Race 3,000 Course
This next event comes with a seizure warning…seriously. ThereCon Death Race 3,000 is set in the future among a war zone and infestation of aliens and giant killer bees. Ride your Hoverboard through the timed track to be the winner of new world order. Event starts at 8:00 PM PDT October 20th.
EEEEKKKKK! Something mysterious and strange is going on in the tranquil land of Saja. Investigate the ominous large red planets with the Cross Country Racers on Friday night starting at 5:00 PM PDT. It’s not safe to go alone so hitch a ride with friends.
Francis_7 will be hosting The conclusion to The Gorgon Chronicles Episode 4 on Saturday, October 22nd at 8:00 PM PDT. Chat with the cast and crew of TGC over at the Foxy Theater at Miracle Pictures Studio. Head over to the bar for the Dead Dog after party.

Bay Area Boat System’s 12th Anniversary

The Bay Area Boat System (B.A.B.S.) club celebrates its 12th anniversary in There this month! To honor this celebration the B.A.B.S. group is holding special anniversary events September 15th through the 19th.
The B.A.B.S. group supports a network of large landing towers and outposts throughout There. The towers allow big groups of guided hoverboat tours to easily island hop from one location to the next. B.A.B.S.throws regular events and everyone is invited. You can pilot your own hoverboat or relax and enjoy the scenic view from the passenger seat.
The B.A.B.S. group was founded on September 23, 2004 by Thereian LossAngeles. It holds over 500 members and hosts regular events in There. The B.A.B.S.group is so extensive, it has three sub-groups consisting of the B.A.B.S.Flight Captains, B.A.B.S.Host Captains and the B.A.B.S.Outpost Community.
Don’t miss the big anniversary party on Monday, September 19th and the fun events leading up to it. B.A.B.S. has quests, bingo and cross-country racing and other exciting events planned for the celebration.
Summer There Games Opening Ceremonies
The There Games Opening Ceremonies kicked off the start of the 2016 summer season! Thanks to all of our competitors for attending. We look forward to your participation in the Summer Games. Competitive events start Friday, August 19th. Check out the Official Scoreboard and sign up ahead of time for daily events.

Jungle Pools Splash & Swim Social
Relax and stay cool with your friends this week at the refreshing Jungle Pools during Sunshine and Tan Lines. The waterfalls and lush scenery are a perfect backdrop for catching up and chilling out. The Splash & Swim Social starts at 11:00 AM PST on Saturday, August 6th. Event hosted by There Staff Pyrena_Zosime.
Stop on over at the There Events Party Barge and saddle up to the bar for a game of BINGO or lay out on top of the barge and work on your Avatar’s tan. It’s a good idea to be registered for the game ahead of time and ready to go when the first number is called. You can register your Ultimate There BINGO account here. Bay Area Boat Systems Sailboat Tour
You know what they say about those three hour boat tours. If there’s a guy on your boat named Gilligan, jump ship! Just kidding, this event is only scheduled for one hour. Join the B.A.B.S. flight captains for a boat cruise and sail off into the sunset for the Sunshine and Tan Lines event. The boats leave the docks at 8:00 PM PST on Wednesday, August 10th.
