Call For Summer Games Event Hosts
The There Games are hailed as one of the largest crowd-drawing events in There.com. The foundation of the Games is the creative, fun and competitive events dreamed up and put on by friendly There Games event Hosts and Co-Hosts. Each year There Games competitors look forward to the unique types of events offered by each Host. There are all kinds of competitors with different interests, skill levels and abilities who seek out events like card games, vehicle races, costume parties, round-ups, underwater basket weaving and tons of other types of rewarding events. In order to have a successful There Games we need Event Hosts and Co-Hosts who are fired up and ready to put on fun and fantastic events for the competitors. We are putting out a call to all past, present and future Hosts to sign up to host a There Games event this summer season.
If you are a seasoned Host or still climbing up the Event Host skill ladder, we’d love to have your participation in the upcoming Summer There Games. The Host Coordinators have a lot of great documents and information about Hosting events in There to share with you. There is a weekly meeting for There Games Event Hosts where you can get advice and support on how to set up and manage your event. They can help you get your events listed in the Official Scoreboard and help you figure out how you would like to score your event. The Host Coordinators have come up with a helpful document for Event Hosts to learn about new and creative ways to score There Games events.
If you’re interested in hosting a Summer There Games event, sign up for the There Games Hosting Group to stay in contact with other Hosts and receive updates about important Host information. The weekly Host Meetings are held at There Games Park. The meetings are an hour-long and you can discuss your ideas and get feedback from other Hosts. Attending the meetings are not required, but they can be really helpful. If you’re interested in hosting and can’t stop by a meeting, you can contact the Host Coordinators directly by ThereMail. Get An Eyeful BABS Adventure
The Bay Area Boat System (BABS) has an exciting event coming up on Saturday, June 25th called Get An Eyeful BABS Adventure! They are taking Thereians on a magical flight to view the newest BABS outpost tower in There! What’s an outpost you ask?
The BABS group supports a network of large landing towers and outposts throughout There. The towers allow big groups of guided hoverboat tours to easily island hop from one location to the next. BABS throws regular events and everyone is invited. You can pilot your own hoverboat or relax and enjoy the scenic view from the passenger seat.
Catch a flight with the best Boat Captains in There and enjoy a leisurely tour to the newest outpost tower this weekend!

Happy almost Halloween! The BINGO Maniacs are putting on another great game of BINGO this week. Join your host coolnet560 at Zip’s Shoe & Bingo 2 on Wednesday, October 21st at 6:00 PM Pacific/9:00 PM Eastern for a game of BINGO in There. Sitting on the Dock of the Bay
Ahoy Matey! Seaside ThereHomes are available for rent on Cannery Row and Pier 39!

Space, the Final Camp-A-Palooza Frontier!
It’s the final and fourth week of Camp-A-Palooza and the campers have gone to new heights to explore beyond the wilderness of There!
Bring your sky deck and Hoverpack to set up your own campsite in Space. A few generous campers have dropped additional sky decks for those of us to use who don’t have a lot of experience building in Space. Camping events will continue this week with Bigfoot Quests, campfire stories and Bigfoot Family Photos.
Earn camp badges for participating in the camp out each week! There are a total of seven badges to collect. Earn three badges to participate in the final Camp Challenge and collect any six badges to be eligible for a special prize. Once you have pitched your tent at the last location, you will want to add your campsite to the Camp-A-Palooza Camper Badges Sheet.
The search for Bigfoot continues! Make sure to capture his photograph and post it to the Thereian Community Facebook Page to be entered into a drawing. The more locations you find him in, the better your chances at winning the Bigfoot drawing. Make sure your photo captures his name tag and avatar.
FrostBite is a Big Hit at the 2015 WTGs!
Get your hands on everyone’s new best little buddy in There! Tote around the adorable 2015 WTG penguin mascot doll, FrostBite to all of your scheduled Game events. There is also a fun and festive 2-D Cutout of him available to decorate your home or Clubhouse with during the Winter Games.
Build A Snowman Contest
They say no two snowflakes are alike and when you smush them all together you get one creative and unique snowman! Join the winter tradition of building a snowman for fun. Enter the “Do You Want to Build a Snowman Contest” hosted by pHLuid13 on Frosty Island.
Teleport to Frosty Island where the contest will be held. Members are dropping their PAZes in a row. Once you’ve scouted your location, you’ll need to drop a Quarter-Acre PAZ to participate. You can purchase one from Shop Central.
Next, you will need to acquire the parts to build your snowman. Start with the Build a Snowman Body and then choose one of the different snowman heads to top it off! There are also snowman accessories like scarves and arms available.
You can get as creative with your snowman build as you like, but are limited to the 20 drops available with a Quarter-Acre PAZ.
The contest will allow for two special winners! A 37,000T prize will be awarded to the best dressed snowman and the PAZ that tells the best story.
The contest is going on now and will end at 11:59 PM PST on December 13th. Voting for the best dressed snowman and best story will take place on the 14th.
