The World is a Stage!
Are you a trivia or game show enthusiast who is always yelling out the right answers at the television set, yet never recognized by others as an amazing arsenal of random information? Show off your kills and expertise at your very own Stage in There! Host weekly game show events and invite fellow brainiacs and know-it-alls to test your knowledge. Stages can also be a great venue to host a variety of events like live theater, lectures, meetings and fashion shows. The stages have chat props for a Master of Ceremonies and twelve audience members.
We recently announced a slash in FunZone pricing and have listed two Stage Deeds in Auctions. The Stage Auctions end on November 29th, so get your bid in early.
Host an open-air group performance or presentation at Manoa’s Toe in Kantana. There is a standing action tag for the Host/MC and two contestants. It includes audience seating for twelve. This Stage FunZone is spicier than a habenjero! Turn up the heat with an outstanding performance at Spice Slope. Great for live theater events, stand-up and conferences. Funzone Prices Slashed!
Even though were able to sell only two of the first ten reduced-price Funzones, we’ve gone ahead and reduced the price on over 100 more Zones, effectively immediately.
If you already hold the deed for a zone, the new pricing applies to you, too. We’re sorry, but no, it’s not retroactive.
We’ll be putting the deeds for the un-rented zones up for auction, a few at a time, over the next few weeks. Since some zones will be in high demand, we think this is the best way to decide “who gets it”.
Sooo, keep your eyes open for the Zone you’ve always wanted! With these new prices, you can’t afford to wait, because we’re sure someone else has their eyes on it too!
Celebrate Ourstock in There!
It’s that time of year again where Hippies gather to celebrate good music and good people at Ourstock! The annual festival held at Hippie Islands runs through Sunday, November 23rd.
Hippie Island invites the community to drop PAZes around the neighborhood and get in touch with their groovy side. All fun, festive and creative builds are welcome. There is quite the collection of around twenty-five eclectic PAZes surrounding the hood already. So, grab a PAZ, some fun decorations and join the party!
There are tons of fun events scheduled during Ourstock. Check the Activities Page for a longer list of events. There will be live performances, dancing, scavenger hunts, BINGO, Groovy Bug racing, Oobie the Ourstock bare foot races, quests and other exciting events. Those are the two words to remember: THERE.COM and HOME. When you are wondering where the people are, remember that there.com is your home away from real life home. As such it operates like a home would expect to be operated. Ask yourself this: Is there a constant parade of people and parties and fanfare going on 24/7 in my real life home? Obviously, the answer to that is NO. (for the average person anyway). A home is where you spend a lot of time relaxing and meditating by yourself or with special people. Only on special occasions do you have company over. As in the real world, there are times when everything is buzzing around like bees in a hive and there are times when everything is quiet again in cycles.

Affordable FunZones Available For Rent in There
FunZones are like big parks in There where you can hold events and invite your friends and fellow Thereians. We’ve recently gone through and lowered the rental rates for several FunZones! Half of the FunZone sale inventory is already gone! Grab one while they’re still available. These affordable FunZones are located in many different areas in-world and offer different types of terrain to build on.
If you are interested in owning your own zone, check out the list of FunZones available for rent. We’ve highlighted the FunZones on sale below.
Ash Field FunZone located in North Cangrejo costs 35,000T per month and is a great location for a paintball match, party or big event.
Banded Rock is located in South Cangrejo and costs 35,000T per month. The dry winds and rock terrain make for a fun paintball match.
Blue Vista located in South Cangrejo has a monthly rental fee of 35,000T. The flat desert terrain allows for easy builds. You can’t beat the big blue skies in this neck of the woods.
Have some western-style paintgun fun at Boulder Terrace. The 30-day rental period costs 35,000T. It’s located in Central Cangrejo.
Don’t forget to bring your canteen of water to this dry desert FunZone! Burning Rock located in South Cangrejo has a monthly rental rate of 22,000T.
This FunZone’s hotter than a jabenero! Cluckie’s Hideaway comes complete with desert cacti. Located in South Cangrejo, this super affordable FunZone is only 22,000T per month.
