Splash Into Summer
Summer is officially here and it’s time to relax and enjoy the company of friends in There. Make sure you’re stocked up on everything you need to host a summer picnic, cookout or poolside party. There are great deals on summer items in the Auctions.
Pick yourself up a PAZ and take it with you on a foot hike adventure across your favorite island in There. Drop your PAZ and set out a fancy picnic for your friends to enjoy as they soak up the scenery of our beautiful virtual world.
Step up your backyard BBQ game with a new grill for your next cookout. Whether you like cooking with gas or charcoal, food always tastes best when it’s cooked outside. Don’t forget to grab hamburger and hot dog buns while you’re at the store!
Be the summertime envy of all of your neighbors and install that new pool addition to your dream backyard. All the kids on the block will want to come to your pool party! Add some inner tubes and float toys for a fun time in the water.

Island Games After Party
The second annual There Island Games was a blast! Thank you to everyone who participated as a competitor. Special thanks goes out to all of the coordinators and event hosts who dedicated their time and efforts into making this such a fun and successful event.

Island Games in There
Do you want to play a game? Six randomly chosen teams will go head to head in a ten day friendly competition in the virtual world There.com. Island Games run May 14th through May 22nd.
Sign up for the Island Games Invite List if you would like to participate. Once you are a member of the group, you will receive an invite to the team you’ve been assigned to. In order to play, you must sign up for the Invite List by May 7th. The deadline to accept your invitation to the team group is May 10th. Click on IslandGames_Avie’s profile for more information. To participate in the Island Games events, you must be a Basic or Premium Member.
Events for Island Games are being added daily to the Activities Page. Sign up in advance for events that spark your interest and inner competitor. Once the Island Games have started, you can keep track of your team’s points with the official Island Games’s Scoreboard.

Camp-A-Palooza
Looking for adventure and new friends in There? Grab your backpack and join the Thereian community for Camp-A-Palooza! This Springtime event runs from March 15th – April 5th. Each week a new camping location is revealed and hikers race to find the campsite with the best grounds and views. Do you have what it takes to survive in the There wilderness?
Every seasoned camper knows that preparation for the trip is very important. In addition to making sure you have the proper camping gear, you will also need to purchase a PAZ to set your camp up in. Each week you will pick up your PAZ and drop it at the new camping location.
Join other campers each Tuesday night at the Camp-A-Palooza Info Booth before heading over to the new campsite. The gathering starts at 7:00 PM PT/10:00 PM ET. Click here to sign up for the second week of Camp-A-Palooza. If you are not able to attend the event, you can always stop by the Info Booth and grab the posted link to the new location.

For each week a camper participates and drops a PAZ at the campsite, they will be entered into a dice roll for the chance to win some awesome prizes. There are also tons of fun camping activities and events throughout the week for you to enjoy and meet new friends.
Camp-A-Palooza is a member-run event. You can help support its continued success by buying special Camp-A-Palooza merchandise. Look for other fundraising information at the Info Booth.

Name the Foxy Winter There Games Mascot
The 2016 Winter There Games mascot needs your help. This cute little critter needs a name! The Thereian community sent in their suggestions and the committee has chosen five of their top favorite names for you to vote on. The choices are…Artie, Foxy Roxy, Mandy, Erica and Rory.
Log into There.com with your avatar and head over to the Amphitheater in the Winter There Games Village. There is a voting sign set up for you to cast your vote. Click on the Action Tag to open the sign and decide on your favorite.
Voting ends Wednesday, February 10th at 8:00 PM PST. Help name the 2016 WTG mascot!

Vote For Your Favorite WTG Logo
The Winter There Games are right around the corner and before the festivities can begin, we need to pick a logo! Several Thereians have submitted artwork for the 2016 WTG Logo Contest and now it’s up to you to decide the winner. Cast your vote for your favorite logo! The voting polls will be open January 19th – 21st. The winning logo will be displayed on a special Winter There Games poster and promotional items which will only be available for sale during the Games. Good luck to all of our participants!
2016 Winter There Games Logo Contest
It’s that time of year again! The Winter There Games are just around the corner. Are you ready to take home the gold for your team? Before each There Games we hold a logo contest to give the community a chance to show off their creativity and design skills. After the submissions are received, we invite the Thereian community to vote for their favorite There Games logo!
How does the Winter There Games Logo Contest work?
- The deadline to submit your logo design is Monday, January 18th at 12:00 Pacific/ 3:00 PM Eastern.
- Your design must include the words “Winter There Games” or “There Winter Games” and “2016”. You may use the There logo. You may not use anything that may infringe upon the official Olympic logo or any other copyrighted material.
- Your logo design must be 512 x 256 (it can be turned in either direction, so it can also be 256 x 512). Please use the .jpg or .png format.
- Send your .jpg or .png file to WTG.Avie@gmail.com – please include the words “There Games Logo Contest” in the subject line.
- All logo designs must be original work.
- All designs submitted will be posted anonymously for community viewing and voting. Voting will take place January 19th – 21st . The design that receives the most votes will become the official logo of the Winter There Games 2016.
- The logo will be displayed on a special Winter There Games poster to be available for purchase during the 2016 Winter There Games only.

Ugly Christmas Sweater Party
Dig deep into your closet and pull out that Ugly Christmas Sweater, you’ve got a party to go to! Maybe you need to borrow one from Grandma or hit up the thrift stores, but the uglier and more ridiculous the sweater the better impression you’ll make at the party!
Join the Phoenix Stars at the Ugly Sweater Christmas Event on Friday, December 11th at 6:00 pm PT/9:00 pm ET.
There are lots of little mini events planned during the two hour event. There will be Christmas carols, dancing and music with Club99, an ice skating rink and a few other fun surprises.
