October is shaping up to be an action-packed month in the Virtual World There!
The Chooms are bringing the Thereian community a special series of paintball events every Thursday throughout October, with five different games, five different adventures, and plenty of paintball chaos along the way.
Even better? Each event takes place during FREE Paintball Thursdays, which means members can enjoy 11 hours of unlimited FREE paintball ammo every Thursday!
The fun kicks off during Superhero Week and then heads straight into Halloween celebrations for the rest of the month. Costumes are encouraged during Superhero Week and all month long in October, so dust off your capes, masks, bodysuits, and creepiest creations and come ready to play!
Who Are the Chooms
The Chooms are a social group in There dedicated to bringing fun paintball and racing events to the Thereian community on a weekly basis. The Chooms Paintball Host Team includes BR34D, tttayttay2, and _Synergy, who work together to dream up creative challenges, build unique games, and give Thereians another reason to grab their paintball guns and gather with friends each week. From competitive challenges to events that are just plain silly and fun, the Chooms are all about bringing people together for a little friendly competition, plenty of laughs, and, of course, lots of flying paintballs!
So, what exactly does choom mean?
Choom is slang for a close homie or family member, but it means a little more than simply calling someone a friend or mate. Being someone’s choom implies a special level of trust, loyalty, and camaraderie. When you find the people who genuinely have your back through all the fun, adventures, and maybe a little paintball chaos along the way, they’re more than just friends, they’re chooms for life!

Calling all heroes and villains! Superhero Week happens October 1st through the 8th, and the Chooms are kicking off their October series with the Super Hero Shooting Gallery event.
Suit up, grab your paintball gun, and prepare to put your super-powered aim to the test!
Make your way along a wild zig-zag road where six targets are waiting to challenge you. Your mission is simple: take aim, fire, and see if you have what it takes to conquer the entire gallery.
Dress as your favorite superhero or supervillain grab your paintball gun, bring your best aim, and join the crew for an evening of fun.
No superpowers required…but good aim definitely helps!

During Outbreak, players will work together to find contagious targets and shoot them into their proper containment goals before the outbreak spreads.

This is the final stop on the Chooms’ October road of paintball fun, so throw on your Halloween costume, round up your friends, and get ready to be spooked! Things get extra creepy on October 29th when the Chooms take the action to Mahaloween, There’s special Halloween-themed Neighborhood!
Welcome to the Haunted House Shooting Gallery, where the ghosts aren’t the only things going BOO!
Grab your paintball gun and enter if you dare. Make your way through the haunted house, keep your eyes peeled for creepy targets, and prove you’ve got both the aim and the nerves to survive the night.
Hunt down spooky targets, take your best shots, brave the haunted house, and prepare yourself for scares, surprises, and plenty of chaos.
There’s just one little problem…
You might want to make sure the ghosts haven’t locked the door behind you.
🎃 Costumes, Paintball & Halloween Fun All Month Long!
The Chooms kick things off with Superheroes on October 1st and keep the paintball fun going straight through to Halloween!
Members are encouraged to dress up throughout the entire month of October, whether you’re joining the heroes and villains during Superhero Week, exploring the Void, braving a haunted house in Mahaloween, or trying to contain a zombie outbreak. And don’t forget: all five of these special events happen during FREE Paintball Thursdays, giving members 11 hours of unlimited FREE paintball ammo every Thursday to practice their aim, play with friends, and enjoy even more paintball fun before and after the Chooms events.
