Break out your board shorts and bikinis because there’s going to be a lot of pool parties and fun at the beach this week. Sunshine and Tan Lines starts August 4th.

Cross Country Racing Sunshine and Tan Lines
Race across the islands of There with your friends exploring the best beaches our virtual world has to offer. The race starts at 5:00 PM PST on Friday, August 5th. Event hosted by CCR_Gina.
Jungle Pools Splash & Swim Social
Relax and stay cool with your friends this week at the refreshing Jungle Pools during Sunshine and Tan Lines. The waterfalls and lush scenery are a perfect backdrop for catching up and chilling out. The Splash & Swim Social starts at 11:00 AM PST on Saturday, August 6th. Event hosted by There Staff Pyrena_Zosime.
Stop on over at the There Events Party Barge and saddle up to the bar for a game of BINGO or lay out on top of the barge and work on your Avatar’s tan. It’s a good idea to be registered for the game ahead of time and ready to go when the first number is called. You can register your Ultimate There BINGO account here. Grab your surf board and head over to Golden Sands for a race around the pond. Beware of what lurks beneath the surface of the water! Everyone who completes a lap is eligible for a prize. Bay Area Boat Systems Sailboat Tour
You know what they say about those three hour boat tours. If there’s a guy on your boat named Gilligan, jump ship! Just kidding, this event is only scheduled for one hour. Join the B.A.B.S. flight captains for a boat cruise and sail off into the sunset for the Sunshine and Tan Lines event. The boats leave the docks at 8:00 PM PST on Wednesday, August 10th. Go Back In Time in There
Teleport back to the distant land of lords, ladies and dragons this week in our virtual world community with the Renaissance Faire event There is Feudal.
There is discord in the village and the peasants must relocate. Join your host KatesHappy at Karma Kastle with your PAZ in hand to find new land to conquer and settle upon for a fun week of medieval events. There is Feudal runs July 12th through the 19th.

Star Spangled Celebration
Avalon Island Neighborhood
Join in the Star Spangled Celebration on Saturday at Avalon Island in There. It’s an all day event with dancing and music in the evening. Stop by the neighborhood anytime on July 2nd and check out the vendor booths outside of the Pan Pacific Auditorium. There will be Clubs, Designers, Special Events and other good stuff on display for everyone to check out.

The BYOB Buggy Show starts at 4:00 PM PST. It’s an informal buggy show for all buggy lovers to show off their prized vehicles. This is a good opportunity to check out some older model buggies that haven’t been around for a while. Don’t have a buggy for the show? Find one that suits your style in Auctions.
Get a good seat to view the Star Spangled Parade or join in on foot with friends through the Avalon Island Neighborhood and end up at the Pan Pacific Auditorium. Dress in your festive red, white and blue gear for the parade! The parade starts at 6:00 PM PST.
Round out the Star Spangled Celebration by kicking up your heels and doing a ‘jig on the dance floor! Enjoy music and dancing while you catch the Club 99 dance performance. There will be random dice rolls throughout the evening for great prizes. The dance starts at 7:00 PM PST.

Tiki Talk is a weekly trivia event in There hosted by Francis_7 every Tuesday night. Multiple choice questions are read out loud and trivia participants buzz in when they know the answer. Diverse questions are centered around pop culture, music, television and movies.
Test your brain power and ability to recall random pieces of information for a chance to show your fellow Thereians how much of a smarty pants you are.

Cards Rock Spades Tournament
Do you like to play Spades in There? The Cards Rock Club holds two Spades tournaments a week in the beautiful Ridge neighborhood on the island of Aurora.
The build at Cards Rock is a sight to see! Card players start the tournament at the bottom landing of Card Rock. Once a round of Spades has been played the winners progress up to another landing on the Rock to play the next round. Eventually players reach the top of the rock to play the final round in the tournament.
Cards Rock events like to spice up their Spades a bit and host games with a twist in the rules. If you like to play Spades and want to participate in a challenging game, head over to their next event OCD Spades. This crazy version of Spades, players must play their cards from left to right as they are shown on the playing panel. Players make their move with the card furthest to the left that is playable. You’ve got to stay on your toes to play this game of Spades.

Get An Eyeful BABS Adventure
The Bay Area Boat System (BABS) has an exciting event coming up on Saturday, June 25th called Get An Eyeful BABS Adventure! They are taking Thereians on a magical flight to view the newest BABS outpost tower in There! What’s an outpost you ask?
The BABS group supports a network of large landing towers and outposts throughout There. The towers allow big groups of guided hoverboat tours to easily island hop from one location to the next. BABS throws regular events and everyone is invited. You can pilot your own hoverboat or relax and enjoy the scenic view from the passenger seat.
Catch a flight with the best Boat Captains in There and enjoy a leisurely tour to the newest outpost tower this weekend!
