Haunted Big Easy Island
In celebration of Halloween, Superdale has created the mother of all haunted houses in There! The annual event held at Big Easy Island just seems to get bigger and better with every season.
Make sure to bring a friend or two on your journey throughout the never-ending Haunted House. If you get lost, remember there is safety in numbers. Start your tour at the Haunted Big Easy Island. As you cross the bridge over the blood bayou you will find a book of scary stories. Read on about the terrible things that happened to a little old lady. Begin your journey through the house of horror and answer clues to a haunted quest. The quest runs throughout the endless rooms decorated with corpses, headstones, creepy crawlers, vampires and things that go bump in the night.
Superdale has really outdone himself this year! There are over 330 drops that have gone into creating the haunted masterpiece. We spoke with Superdale and he had mentioned that he had over 72 hours of planning and building to create the haunted house for this year. There are already plans in the works for next year’s build.
It is really a horrific sight to see and one you won’t want to miss! You can catch one of the Haunted Quests or drop by the Haunted Big Easy Island anytime day or night to take a tour of the biggest haunted house in There.

Creepy Places in There
Halloween is right around the corner and many fantastic spooky and scary places have started popping up all over There! From pumpkin patches to ghostly cemeteries to haunted houses to Halloween shops, there are plenty of creepy places in our virtual world to explore with your friends.
Martin71’s Halloween Cave at Mount Valley Beach Neighborhood is a scary sight with giant zombies and a cave full of large hairy spiders. Watch out for burning lava! View the Halloween decorations that went into making this the creepiest cave in There!

Halloween is at the end of the month, but decorations have been in Auctions since the beginning of August! Halloween is one holiday people don’t mind seeing spooky, scary and sometimes cute decorations during the entire month of October. Haunted houses and creepy cemeteries are popping up all over There as we get closer to celebrating All Hallow’s Eve.
Our designers have outdone themselves and come up with some seriously wicked Halloween decorations. Make room in your garden for pumpkins and decorate the front porch for trick-or-treaters. Go all out and host your very own haunted house tour! Gather all of the ghost, ghouls and gravestones needed to create a spooktacular Halloween and enter your decorative masterpiece to the 2015 Halloween Decorating Contest in There.

To participate, you’ll need to do the following:
1. Capture a photo of a BABS flight captain, host captain, outpost tower owner, outpost tower, event or tour, you with your favorite hoverboat, your name on a boat track at Skidmark Speedway, you racing your hoverboat at Skidmark Speedway, the BABS Club House or an unfortunate boating accident.
2. Submit your avatar name and photo(s) via email to photos@babscommunity.com.
3. Attend the wrap-up party and see if you’ve won a prize!

Halloween Haunt Decorating Contest
Add dust to those cobwebs and pull out your pumpkins! It’s time to take the Halloween boxes down from the attic and get to work decorating. Coolnet560 is hosting the 2015 Halloween Decorating Contest in There. Special gifts will be created for the top three winning locations in addition to a dice roll for all participants. The winners will be announced at Coolnet560’s Halloween party. Stay tuned for more event details. See the Contest Guidelines for the rules and information on where to submit your entry. Bay Area Boat System’s 11th Anniversary in There – Celebration in Pictures
Congratulations to one of the oldest running clubs in There, Bay Area Boat System (BABS) celebrates its 11th anniversary in our virtual world! To honor this celebration, the BABS group is holding a special activity from October 1st through the 15th.

The BABS group supports a network of large landing towers and outposts throughout There. The towers allow big groups of guided hoverboat tours to easily island hop from one location to the next. BABS throws regular events and everyone is invited. You can pilot your own hoverboat or relax and enjoy the scenic view from the passenger seat.
The BABS group was founded on September 23, 2004 by Thereian LossAngeles. It holds over 500 members and hosts regular events in There. The BABS group is so extensive, it has three sub-groups consisting of the BABS Flight Captains, BABS Host Captains and the BABS Outpcost Community.
In honor of their 11th anniversary, BABS is hosting a special activity during the month of October. It’s called the Celebration in Pictures and encourages Thereians to attend events, tours and to get out and meet new people. The idea is to take pictures with any BABS Flight Captiain, Host Captain, Outpost owner or capture photos of any BABS outpost tower, BABS event or tour to qualify for entry into a random chance selected reward. Help Us Test A New Feature In There – BRICKS!
Samsyn has been hard at work creating and playing with Bricks! This upcoming new feature to There is a game piece that can be dropped into a Real Estate Zone. Each piece has 100 Brick objects to play with. Not only can you move them all around the Zone, but their shape and material can also be manipulated. Think of the Bricks like elevators for Avatars and vehicles.
We’d like to invite you over to our testing playground at Pumpkin_Jack’s Neighborhood to come and play with the new Bricks and offer us your thoughts and feedback. Let us know what you think and shoot us an email at feedback@thereinc.com.

Shiver Me Timbers! It’s Pirate Daze in There
Avast, me hearties! Saturday, September 19th is National Talk Like A Pirate Day. The cannons be blastin’ as th’ filthiest holiday of the year kicks off a week of debaucherous celebration in There for Pirate Daze.
Calling all ye wenches, scallywags and landlubbers to join in the celebratin’! Pirate Daze in There starts Friday, September 18th and the party will go until we set sail for the high seas again the following weekend. We’re hankerin’ for a good ole time, and we know how t’ give it too, check out all of the Pirate Daze events planned for you!
