Summer There Games Logo Contest
We are gearing up for another season of There Games! The next Summer Games will be held in several weeks. Submissions for the Summer There Games Logo are now being accepted. If you’ve got an artistic side we’d love for you to submit your own creative vision of the next Summer There Games logo. All logo entries are due by July 15th, so you’ve got a couple of weeks to work your graphic design magic.

Please read the Summer There Games Logo Contest guidelines below to enter.
- Submit logo designs in .jpg or .png format.
- Pixel size must be 512 x 256 or 256 x 512.
- Include the words 2016 and Summer There Games or There Summer Games.
- You may incorporate the official There logo.
- You may NOT steal copyrighted material and incorporate it into your logo.
- If your logo is found to have copyrighted material it will be disqualified.
All entries will be posted anonymously for the Thereian Community to vote on. The winning logo will be used on virtual merchandise. Sales from the Summer Games merchandise will go towards running the event as well as prizes for the winning teams.

Island Games After Party
The second annual There Island Games was a blast! Thank you to everyone who participated as a competitor. Special thanks goes out to all of the coordinators and event hosts who dedicated their time and efforts into making this such a fun and successful event.

Name the Foxy Winter There Games Mascot
The 2016 Winter There Games mascot needs your help. This cute little critter needs a name! The Thereian community sent in their suggestions and the committee has chosen five of their top favorite names for you to vote on. The choices are…Artie, Foxy Roxy, Mandy, Erica and Rory.
Log into There.com with your avatar and head over to the Amphitheater in the Winter There Games Village. There is a voting sign set up for you to cast your vote. Click on the Action Tag to open the sign and decide on your favorite.
Voting ends Wednesday, February 10th at 8:00 PM PST. Help name the 2016 WTG mascot!
Calling All Event Hosts for the Summer There Games
Believe it or not, the next There Games is right around the corner! Are you ready to take it to the next level and step up to be a There Games Host this year? If you’re up for the challenge to organize and execute a highly populated event in the virtual world There, we want to hear from you!
There are so many fun types of events scheduled during the There Games. If you have an interest in cards, bingo, racing, paintball, socializing, underwater basket weaving or a creative idea for a new game where Thereians can earn points for their color team, you should be an event host! We need fun, creative, patient, responsible and friendly people like you to host unforgettable events that will be the talk of the Games.
If you are considering Event Hosting for the first time during There Games, there are plenty of seasoned hosts who are available to offer ideas, advice and help with setting up your events. They can provide tips and pointers for making your event go smoothly.
Perhaps you just want to get your feet wet as an Event Co-Host? Behind every great captain is an outstanding first-mate! Co-Hosts are needed for this Summer There Games as well.
Seasoned Event Hosts/Co-Hosts and newcomers alike are encouraged to contact PrincessPebbie or Riot_Girl_1 if you would like to be an important part of the upcoming Summer There Games!
The Games will be held this year from August 28th through September 6th.

FunZone Deeds Available In Auctions
A large number of FunZone rental rates were slashed in November. We’ve been slowly rolling them out a couple at a time. There are six FunZones deeds up for Auction this week.
The current FunZones in Auctions will end on December 6th so make sure to get your bid in early! Rent on a FunZone is charged every thirty days.
FunZone Deeds Available In Auctions
Recently, we announced that we have made a huge rental reduction on many of our FunZones. We will be adding FunZone Deeds to the Auctions a few at a time over the next few weeks. You can keep up with which ones are currently in Auctions by checking on the FunZone Deeds for sale.
The current FunZones in Auctions will end on November 29th so make sure to get your bid in early. All FunZones have been listed in Auctions for an affordable 1,000T. People like to make last minute bids on Real Estate in There, so make sure keep an eye out for your favorite!
Sharpen your Hoverboard skills at the Red Bowl FunZone. You can now rent this special bowl shaped FunZone for a reduced price of 40,000T per month. Place your bid on the Real Estate deed here.
Mosquito Mesa is a sandy FunZone located in Central Cangrejo. It comes with a racekit that allows you to build large tracks that members can race their vehicles on. The races are timed and scored. Celebrate Ourstock in There!
It’s that time of year again where Hippies gather to celebrate good music and good people at Ourstock! The annual festival held at Hippie Islands runs through Sunday, November 23rd.
Hippie Island invites the community to drop PAZes around the neighborhood and get in touch with their groovy side. All fun, festive and creative builds are welcome. There is quite the collection of around twenty-five eclectic PAZes surrounding the hood already. So, grab a PAZ, some fun decorations and join the party!
There are tons of fun events scheduled during Ourstock. Check the Activities Page for a longer list of events. There will be live performances, dancing, scavenger hunts, BINGO, Groovy Bug racing, Oobie the Ourstock bare foot races, quests and other exciting events.
