Hawaiian Summer Gala Tonight!
The bonfire has been lit in preparation for tonight’s big Hawaiian Summer Gala! There will be music, dancing, noob dress-up, games and other fun activities planned for this tropical evening under the stars. Break out your favorite Hawaiian shirt or hula skirt and party the night away with friends!
The Hunt For Bigfoot in There Continues…
Bigfoot has been causing quite the stir during Camp-A-Palooza events in There! There have been several sightings at Camp Nada, Camp Lake Aurora and now Camp Pineapple Forest. With all of the campers encroaching on his natural habitat, Bigfoot has been making some bold moves showing his face in high traffic areas. Trivia guests were startled when he was spotted running through Tiki Talk Tuesday a few days ago.

Thereians have been tracking the elusive beast and documenting sightings of the hairy creature on Facebook. It’s been a challenge for campers to catch photos of him close up. Most often his name tag is seen off in the distance or quick pics have been snapped of him running away with his back to the camera.

At this point Thereians are unsure of what he has been feasting on to keep up his energy reserves eluding groups of curious campers and packs of trail sniffing dogs. There was a murmur through the crowds of campers that Clucky has been missing for several days. It is feared There’s beloved mascot may have turned into Bigfoot’s dinner. No word yet on whether chicken bones were present in the latest discovery of Bigfoot’s scat.

Join the Bigfoot Quest during Camp-A-Palooza and find all of the clues. The Quest runs till the end of the fourth week of camping. There is also a special search party event during Cross Country Racing on Friday night. The crew of campers plan to cruise a caravan of Hoverboats all over the island of Caldera in search of Bigfoot. You never know, you could be the camper who catches him!

If you should discover Bigfoot on your own, do not approach him. There is safety in numbers. Make sure to capture his photograph and post it to the Thereian Community Facebook Page to be entered into a drawing. The more locations you find him in, the better your chances at winning the Bigfoot drawing. Make sure your photo captures his name tag and avatar.
Camp-A-Palooza – Week Three
Join your fellow campers for week three of Camp-A-Palooza over at Camp Pineapple Forest! Nestled along the outskirts of Island Tours, the new camp is set under the trees where a gentle fog blankets the campsites. It’s a little chilly, but folks are keeping warm near the campfires and BBQ pits.
Join the hunt for Bigfoot, attend a sunrise social or share scary stories over the campfire! There’s lots of camping activities going on this week. Sign up for something that suits your schedule.
Earn camp badges for participating in the camp out each week! There are a total of seven badges to collect. Earn three badges to participate in the final Camp Challenge and collect any six badges to be eligible for a special prize. Once you have pitched your tent at any of the four locations, you will want to add your campsite to the Camp-A-Palooza Camper Badges Sheet.
The location of the final campsite will be announced after the Themed Planning Meeting next Tuesday. Don’t miss out on one of the best summer adventures in There!
Week Two of Camp-A-Palooza – Hike to Camp!
Everyone’s been having a blast singing campfire songs, playing games and chasing Big Foot over at Camp Nada during the first week of Camp-A-Palooza in There. A group of around sixty Thereians pitched tents, parked their campers and set up campfires around a central camp area on the island of Nada.

Camp-A-Palooza continues this week with a Hike to Camp event! Camp Counselors have scouted the second location and will lead happy campers out to the site to spend the next week in the virtual wilderness. Grab your hiking boots or Super Bunnies, (whichever you prefer) and join the gang for a fun adventure! Prime camping spots will go quickly so stake your claim with a PAZ and camping gear.
Camp-A-Palooza
Celebrate the beginning of summer with Camp-A-Palooza in There! During the month of June, the Thereian community will visit four different islands in There and pitch camp for a week in each spot. Dust off your camping gear and hike out into the wilderness to stake your claim at the first camp location. Meet up with fellow campers at Camp Nada for fireside chats and fun camping activities.

Spring Carnival Event
Clown around and have fun with your friends over the next couple of days at the first annual Spring Carnival event in There! There will be rides, quests, card games, shootouts, musical chairs, foot races, trivia, bingo, talent shows and much more!
For each Carnival Event you participate in, you will receive a ticket to enter into a raffle at the end of the carnival for your chance to win vehicles, props, clothing and Tbuxs! For more information on how to earn tickets, check out Absolutely There’s blog for details.
Carnival events will be happening around the clock over the next few days so check out the schedule and sign up for your favorite events! Make sure to attend the closing Carnival Masquerade Party on Monday, May 11th at 6:00 PM PST/9:00 PM EST!
Circus of the Stars
The Phoenix Stars are hosting a fantastic Circus of the Stars event for the Thereian Community on Saturday night. Grab your friends and head on down to Tropical Adventures for a fun night under the big top!
The festivities start at 5:00 PM PDT/8:00 PM EDT! Club99 will kick off the event with some great tunes located at the main entrance. Here you will find the Avie Cannon which shoots your avatar off into oblivion or you can choose something more mellow and have your fortune read by Stella the Fortuneteller. Test your knowledge and join the Circus Tropical Trivia Fun event at the main theater. There will be tight rope walking, a dunk tank and kiss a clown booth over at Tree Frog Park. Be sure not to miss the Bozo’s Balls on Fire event where you have a chance to win a special Circus of the Stars buggy!
In addition to the carnival rides and spectacular events planned for the evening, this is your opportunity to come out and meet the Phoenix Stars! Who are the Phoenix Stars? They are a group of dedicated Thereians who assist and welcome new members to our community. They help facilitate the new member experience and show new folks all the great and wonderful things our awesome virtual world has to offer. With the recent Free Basic Trial option there are lots of new folks entering There. Free Trials do not have the ability to communicate with other members, but they are able to talk and interact with Phoenix Stars! You may have come across a new member in-world and have wanted to help them out, but weren’t able to communicate with them. The Circus of the Stars event is a great way to meet Phoenix Stars and add them to your buddy list so that you can call on them in the future to help with new members!

With the Winter Games finally over, it’s time for the three top teams to reap the rewards! Several events will be held at the Winter There Games Village over the course of the weekend for the winning teams to collect their Winter There Games winning team jackets.

St. Patrick’s Day Quest in There
Have you ever been on a quest in There before? It’s tons of fun and a great way to explore the islands in our virtual world. If you are new to questing, try your luck completing the St. Patrick’s Day Quest hosted by Ginxt going on now till the end of March.
Everyone who participates in the quest will win a special St. Patricks Day prize! There will also be a drawing for additional vehicle prizes to be held on March 16th.

Congrats to the Winter There Games Winning Teams!
What an amazing Winter There Games season we’ve had over the past ten days! With almost 300 events and nearly 6,000 competitors, this has been one of the most action packed There Games. We wanted to say thank you to the WTG coordinators, event hosts, co-hosts and all of the color team participants.
Congratulations to Purple for a job well done and taking home the Gold this year. It was a close competition for the Blue and Peach teams with Blue taking home the Silver medal and Peach taking the Bronze.
Please join us this evening for the Closing Ceremony at 6:00 PM PST/9:00 PM EST at the Winter There Games Village. We will be celebrating the victory of the top three teams and good sportsmanship among all of the competitors during the Games.
